Recognition Of Qualifications

According to the Rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, higher education degree diplomas are granted by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to clauses of “Education Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “Regulations about the Ministry of Education”, Lisbon Recognition Convention, about recognition of qualifications concerning higher education in the European region”, “Convention, abolishing the requirement of legalisation for foreign public documents” signed in the Hague, “Rules of recognition of specialties of foreign states in the sphere of the higher education and determination of their equivalence (nostrification)” approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, № 64, dated from May 13, 2003 – the main activity sphere of branch, working on recognition of educational documents includes below stated items:

  • Implements the recognition of specialties of foreign states in the sphere of the higher education and determination of their equivalence (nostrification);
  • Controls requirements of existing legislation related to this sphere;
  • Cooperates with state structures, private organizations and international bodies with the aim of implementation of above stated;
  • Finds out the foreign countries’ developments in the education sphere, determines effective features and implements the new techniques in national education system.

4-Apply for Visa and meet with residence permit procedures

5-Get insured

Make sure you are properly insured during your stay. There are several options, so find out which option applies to your circumstances and talk with university officials upon your arrival.

6-Dormitory and rental apartments

Check our information on housing (dormitory or rental apartment options) to find accommodation before you start your study. Talk with university officials.

7-Heading off
