Steps of Admission

       STEP 1: GETTING AN ADMISSION LETTER
  • Send us your student’s documents via email (kindly state the course name and the option of studying in the message body)
    • Passport (or any other ID document available)
    • School Certificate.
    • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with transcripts (for PG/PhD students).
  • Based on the documents mentioned above we will provide the Admission Letter for the student.

Step 2: Registration in University

  • Next step will be to cover the Application Fee in amount of 500 EUR to apply your Application to the University. To become an official applicant, kindly send us the following documents:
    • Document Confirming English Proficiency.
    • Two Letters of Recommendation (usually written by teachers, professors, employers, course instructors, etc.)
    • Curriculum Vitae in English.
    • Letter of Motivation (on official form sent by us).
  • The decision of the RSU International Admissions Committee about the study place offer/rejection will be announced within two months after receiving a complete digital application. We take decisions on study places on a rolling basis. In the beginning of the admission process the decisions are taken once a month. Later in the admission process the decisions are more frequent – every two weeks or even every week. Thus, if you apply early and submit all necessary application documents, you will get an early answer.

Step 3: Tuition Fee Payment

  • The tuition fee and other payments shall be paid within two weeks after the registration date of the University offer of study place.

  • Information about the payment deadline will be included in the offer of a study place and e-mail on the results of the competition.

Step 4: Get a Visa

  • Filled Latvian Visa Application Form
  • Two passport-sized photos
  • International Passport
  • Proof of sufficient financial resources of at least 150 EUR per month. This can be provided for example through bank statements.
  • Travel Medical Insurance
  • Proof of accommodation
  • University acceptance letter

Step 5: Arrival and Start of Classes

  • The tuition fee and other payments shall be paid within two weeks after the registration date of the University offer of study place.

  • Information about the payment deadline will be included in the offer of a study place and e-mail on the results of the competition.
